BloomUp Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Working draft — this page isn't ready to publish to real users yet: the service isn't yet operating under a registered business, and the contact address listed here is a temporary placeholder for development.
This privacy policy explains what information BloomUp collects when you use the service, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
The service analyzes the photos and profile details you upload to give you a photo ranking, specific recommendations, and a rewritten bio for dating apps.
Who operates this service
BloomUp is an Israeli service, currently in early setup. As of now the service does not operate under a registered business — the business/company details will be added here and in the site footer before the service starts accepting real payments.
What we collect
When you use BloomUp, we collect:
- The photos you upload (4 to 10 photos)
- Your questionnaire answers: gender, age range, preferred bio tone, dating apps you use, hobbies, and an existing bio if you pasted one
- Your full name and email address — the name is needed to generate your payment invoice/receipt, the email to send you your results and status updates
- Payment details: we never see or store your credit card number — payment is processed directly by Cardcom, and we only keep the transaction amount, its status, and Cardcom's transaction ID
- Basic technical information (such as IP address) automatically collected while using the server
How we use your data
We use the information we collect to:
- Process your payment and manage your run record, including generating an invoice/receipt
- Contact you about the status of your request
- Check that photos meet our usage rules, for example that they don't include minors or inappropriate content (planned — not yet automated)
- Analyze each photo and give it a score and specific feedback (planned — not yet active)
- Build a recommended photo order and rewrite your bio (planned — not yet active)
Who we share data with, and where it goes
To provide the service, we share information with external service providers working on our behalf:
- Cardcom — processes your payment and issues an invoice/receipt as required under Israeli law; we don't send them your photos or questionnaire answers, only the details needed to process and charge the payment
- A cloud hosting and database provider, used to store photos and manage your runs and payments
- An external AI service provider, which will perform photo and text analysis and write your bio on our behalf (planned — not yet active; no photos are currently sent to any such provider)
- An external content-moderation vendor, which will scan photos before any further processing (planned — not yet active)
Once automated processing is active, some of these providers may store or process data outside Israel. Under the Privacy Protection Law, we ask for your explicit consent to this transfer in advance — consent you give via a dedicated checkbox at upload.
How long we keep your data
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and in line with any legal retention obligation that applies to us.
Data security
The following measures are implemented in our infrastructure:
- Access to our database and storage is denied by default and limited to our own servers
- We never store credit card details ourselves — those are handled directly by Cardcom
- In the event of a serious security incident, we will notify the Privacy Protection Authority immediately, as required by law
Before automated processing goes live, we plan to add a dedicated content-moderation layer that runs on every photo before any further processing — this is still in planning and not active today.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Protection Law, you have the right to:
- Request to review the information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data, subject to any legal retention obligation
- Withdraw consent you've given, where processing is based on consent
To exercise these rights, you can reach us at privacy@bloomup.example (see also "Contact" below).
Age restriction
The service is intended for users aged 18 and over only. At upload, you're asked to explicitly confirm you're over 18 — this is currently the only way we enforce this restriction.
Cookies & tracking
The service does not currently use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy before the change, not after.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be emailed to active users where possible.
Governing law & jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter relating to it.
